Terms of Service

The agreement that governs your use of Filta

Last updated: September 10, 2026

These Terms of Service (the Terms) are a legally binding agreement between you and Filta, Inc., a Delaware corporation (Filta, we, us, or our). They govern your access to and use of the Filta website, application, and related services (collectively, the Service).

By creating an account, clicking “I agree,” connecting an inbox, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you use the Service on behalf of a travel agency, company, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and you includes that organization.

1. The Service

Filta is a business tool for travel professionals. The Service can connect to Gmail and Microsoft Outlook inboxes you authorize, identify supplier marketing and promotional messages, and turn those messages into a searchable catalog of offers, events, and incentives.

The Service is designed to help you:

  • connect an authorized work inbox;
  • scan recent and incoming supplier marketing email (typically looking back about 90 days on an initial scan);
  • extract structured deal, event, and incentive information from that marketing content; and
  • search, save, dismiss, annotate, and share that catalog with members of your workspace.

Filta is not a booking engine, GDS, supplier, travel agency, or fiduciary. Extracted offers may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. You remain solely responsible for verifying every offer with the supplier or your existing booking tools before you sell, quote, or book it.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is intended for business use by travel professionals, not for personal consumer email management.

You agree to:

  • provide accurate account information and keep it current;
  • keep your login credentials confidential and notify us promptly of unauthorized access;
  • be responsible for activity that occurs under your account and workspaces you control; and
  • use the Service only in compliance with these Terms and applicable law.

We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe violate these Terms or create risk for Filta, other customers, or third parties.

3. Workspaces and team use

Filta may provide personal accounts and team workspaces. If you invite others, you are responsible for their access and for the data they can see in that workspace, including supplier offers derived from connected inboxes.

Workspace owners and admins are responsible for managing members, roles, and connected inboxes, and for ensuring that connecting an inbox is authorized by the inbox owner and the organization.

4. Inbox connections

Some features require you to connect a Gmail or Outlook inbox. Those connections use official Google and Microsoft authorization flows. We request read access so we can scan messages. We do not ask for permission to send, delete, or modify your email.

By connecting an inbox, you represent that you own it or have obtained all rights and consents needed to allow Filta to access and process messages in that inbox for the purposes described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Do not connect a personal inbox, a client’s inbox, or any mailbox you are not authorized to share.

You can disconnect an inbox in Filta at any time. You can also revoke access in your Google or Microsoft account settings. Disconnecting stops new scanning. Existing catalog entries created from that inbox may remain in your workspace until you delete them or close your account, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Filta attempts to set aside personal, one-to-one, booking-operations, and similar non-marketing messages so they are not treated as supplier offers. Classification is automated and will not be perfect. You should not use Filta as a system of record for client communications, medical or payment data, or other sensitive personal information.

5. Customer content

Customer Content means content you or your users submit to or make available through the Service, including account information, connected-inbox data, notes, corrections, saved items, and feedback.

You retain your rights in Customer Content. You grant Filta a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, display, and create derivative works from Customer Content solely to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Service, including to classify messages, extract offer details, and operate workspace features.

When multiple customers receive the same public supplier marketing, we may store a de-duplicated copy of that marketing content and reuse the extracted analysis so we do not reprocess the same campaign for every agency. We do not use that mechanism to share your raw inbox, client correspondence, notes, or corrections with other customers.

You represent that you have the rights needed to grant this license and that Customer Content will not infringe others’ rights or violate law.

6. Filta intellectual property

Filta and its licensors own the Service, including software, models, interfaces, design, documentation, supplier registries, and the look and feel of Filta. These Terms do not transfer any Filta intellectual property to you other than the limited right to use the Service.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to access and use the Service during your subscription, solely for your internal business purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the Service, except to the extent applicable law prohibits that restriction. You may not use Filta’s name, logos, or marks without our prior written consent.

Feedback you provide may be used by Filta without restriction or obligation to you.

7. Acceptable use

You will not, and will not allow others to:

  • use the Service for any purpose other than legitimate travel-agency or related business use;
  • connect an inbox or upload content you are not authorized to share with Filta;
  • attempt to access another customer’s account, inbox, or workspace data;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by imposing an unreasonable load, scraping, or circumventing rate limits or security;
  • use the Service to send spam, malware, or unlawful communications;
  • use the Service to build a competing product, or to systematically extract Filta data except through features we expressly provide;
  • misrepresent extracted offers as verified, exclusive, or guaranteed by Filta; or
  • use the Service in violation of Google, Microsoft, or other third-party terms that apply to an inbox you connect.

8. Fees, trials, and taxes

Paid plans, prices, and billing intervals are shown at checkout or on our pricing page. By starting a paid subscription, you authorize Filta and its payment processor to charge the payment method you provide.

If we offer a trial or promotional period, it will be described at sign-up. Unless we say otherwise, the trial converts to a paid plan at the then-current rate if you do not cancel before the trial ends.

Subscriptions renew automatically for the same term until you cancel. You can cancel in account billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable unless required by law or we expressly say otherwise.

You are responsible for applicable taxes. We may change prices with notice before the next renewal. If you do not agree, cancel before the new price takes effect.

We may suspend access for failed payments after reasonable notice. You remain responsible for unpaid amounts.

9. Third-party services

The Service depends on third parties, including Google, Microsoft, payment processors, hosting and database providers, and AI processors we use to classify and extract supplier marketing. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services. Filta is not responsible for third-party outages, API changes, or decisions to revoke access.

Links to supplier sites, booking tools, or original emails are provided for convenience. We do not control those destinations.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information, including inbox data. Our Cookie Policy explains cookies and similar technologies. Those documents are part of your relationship with us, but these Terms control if there is a conflict about contractual rights and obligations.

11. Confidentiality

Each party may receive non-public information from the other that is marked confidential or that a reasonable person would understand is confidential (Confidential Information). The receiving party will use that information only to perform under these Terms and will protect it with at least reasonable care.

Confidential Information does not include information that is or becomes public through no fault of the receiving party, was already lawfully known, is independently developed, or is rightfully received from a third party. A party may disclose Confidential Information if required by law, after giving notice if legally permitted.

Customer Content is your Confidential Information, except for public supplier marketing that is not unique to you and that we process as described in Section 5.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FILTA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that extracted offers, dates, prices, availability, classifications, or supplier information will be accurate, complete, or current. You assume all risk for decisions you make based on the Service.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FILTA AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF THOSE DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FILTA’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO FILTA FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100) IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID ANY FEES.

These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory and are an essential basis of the bargain. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.

14. Indemnification

You will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Filta and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your Customer Content; (b) your connection of an inbox or other data source; (c) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or law; or (d) a dispute between you and your clients, suppliers, or workspace members.

15. Term and termination

These Terms start when you first accept them or use the Service and continue until terminated.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in account settings, or by emailing hello@filta.app. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service.

On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will survive. We will handle remaining data as described in the Privacy Policy.

16. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service, including features, limits, and supported inbox providers. We may also update these Terms. If a change is material, we will provide notice by posting the updated Terms and updating the date above, and we may also email you or display an in-product notice.

Continued use after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and cancel any subscription.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to the informal resolution step below, the state and federal courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction, and you consent to that venue.

Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by emailing hello@filta.app with a brief description of the issue. We will attempt to resolve it in good faith within 30 days.

If you are a business, you and Filta waive any right to participate in a class, consolidated, or representative action to the extent permitted by law.

The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

18. Miscellaneous

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, plus any order form or plan details we expressly agree with you, are the entire agreement and supersede prior discussions about the Service.
  • Severability. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
  • Waiver. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, or sale of assets.
  • Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages of Google, Microsoft, or our hosting providers.
  • Export and sanctions. You will not use the Service in violation of U.S. export control or sanctions laws.
  • Notices. We may notify you by email, in-product message, or by posting on the Service. Legal notices to Filta must be sent to hello@filta.app.
  • No third-party beneficiaries. These Terms do not create rights for any third party except as expressly stated.
  • Government use. The Service is commercial computer software. If you are a U.S. government user, your rights are limited to those in these Terms.

19. Contact
