This Cookie Policy explains how Filta, Inc. (Filta, we, us, or our) uses cookies and similar technologies on the Filta website and application. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies such as local storage. Together, they help the Service remember you, keep you signed in, and remember display preferences.
2. Cookies we use
Filta uses cookies that are needed to run the product. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not allow advertising networks to drop cookies through Filta to profile you across unrelated websites.
Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the Service to function. The product cannot operate correctly without them.
- Authentication and session. Keep you signed in, protect account security, and enforce access controls.
- Inbox connection. Remember where to return you after Google or Microsoft authorization, and complete that handshake securely.
- Security. Help prevent cross-site request forgery and similar abuse.
Preferences
These cookies remember choices you make so the interface stays consistent:
- theme (light, dark, or system);
- sidebar and layout state; and
- last-selected workspace, so we can return you there.
Analytics
We may collect limited, product-usage information (such as page views and feature events) to understand how Filta is used and to fix problems. We do not currently use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add a third-party analytics provider, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for consent.
3. How long cookies last
Session cookies expire when you close your browser or sign out. Persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them. Typical lifetimes today:
- authentication and session cookies last for your signed-in period;
- theme preference may last up to about 12 months;
- last-selected workspace may last up to about 30 days; and
- sidebar and layout state may last up to about 7 days.
4. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you may not be able to sign in, connect an inbox, or use other core features.
Browser settings differ. Look for “cookies,” “privacy,” or “site settings” in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge. You can also use private-browsing mode, which typically deletes cookies when the window closes.
5. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy when our practices change. The date at the top will be revised, and material changes will be posted here.
